NorthernTel Prepaid Cell Phone Plans
Overview
Established in 1905, NorthernTel is one of Canada's oldest telecommunications companies. They have an 83,000 kilometer service area.
Pros: Unlimited long distance within Canada is not common with prepaid. Their other rates are competitive with most other prepaid plans.

Plans: NorthernTel Mobility's pay by the month plan offers the first two minutes of each call for 30 cents each, with five cents for each additional minute. The pay by the day plan offers the same rate, but charges 75 cents per day for unlimited nights and weekends starting at 9 p.m, and early nights and weekends, starting at 6 p.m. for a dollar a day.
